Raphael Sorel – French nobleman fencer on a journey to find his lost daughter Amy. Nightmare – Still the main antagonist of the series, the living incarnation of Soul Edge. Maxi – A sea-faring pirate with a shard of Soul Edge in his body that apparently slows down the aging process. Kilik – Former student of Edge Master and the possible current Edge Master. She wields her unique snake sword that she invented. Isabella “Ivy” Valentine – The apparently ageless, trash talking, large breasted vixen of the series. Hildegard von Krone – The princess of the kingdom of Wolfkrone and travels with Siegfried’s mercenary band, the Schwarzwind. Heishiro Mitsurugi – One of the original Soul Calibur characters. He fights using the styles of all other characters in the game.
